EPA Hearing: Proposal to Loosen Regulations on Power Plant Emissions

Plan would increase greenhouse gases and contribute to extreme weather like the deadly floods in Texas, according to expert testimony

The EPA held a hearing this week so that experts could comment on a recent proposal to repeal greenhouse gas emission standards for power plants. Lynn Goldman, Dean of the George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health, gave testimony in opposition to the proposed rule.
